We’re hiring: Director of Engineering (DOE) – Ithina Command | Gurugram NCR

Ithina is looking for a seasoned Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering organization for next-generation AI-powered Retail and Industrial Intelligence platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building scalable enterprise applications, cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled workflows, integration systems, and operational intelligence solutions.

What you’ll do:

- Lead engineering teams across backend, frontend, integrations, QA, DevOps, and platform engineering.
- Own architecture for enterprise applications, microservices, APIs, cloud-native systems, and integration platforms.
- Drive product engineering delivery from architecture to production deployment.
- Build strong engineering governance, release discipline, quality standards, and operational excellence.
- Partner with product, AI, customer experience, and business teams to deliver scalable customer outcomes.

What we’re looking for:

- 10–20 years of engineering experience with solid leadership exposure.
- Strong background in enterprise application architecture, distributed systems, microservices, API design, and cloud-native engineering.
- Hands-on exposure to technologies such as Node.js, Java, Python, React/Angular, AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL/NoSQL, DevSecOps, and observability platforms.
- Experience in Retail Technology, Enterprise SaaS, IoT, Edge Intelligence, Industrial Automation, or Operational Platforms is preferred.
- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or Software Engineering required; M.Tech/MBA or relevant cloud/architecture certifications are a plus.
