Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible DG Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain diesel generator sets to ensure uninterrupted power supply. The candidate will be responsible for routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with the maintenance team for any technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor DG sets as per standard operating procedures.

- Start and shut down the DG set safely during power failures and restoration.

- Check DG parameters such as voltage, frequency, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level.

- Conduct regular inspections of the DG set and associated equipment.

- Monitor diesel and lubricant levels and maintain proper records.

- Identify abnormal sounds, vibrations, leakage, overheating, or other issues and report them immediately.





- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities.

- Maintain DG operation logs, fuel consumption records, and maintenance records.

- Coordinate with electricians, technicians, and maintenance vendors during breakdowns or servicing.

- Ensure the DG room is clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.

- Follow electrical, fire, and workplace safety procedures while operating the DG.

- Ensure proper handling and storage of diesel and other consumables.

- Assist during preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets.

- Perform other duties assigned by the Facility Manager/Engineering Supervisor.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
