Essential Job Functions:
CMDB and Asset Discovery (Cloud)
Implement BMC Helix Discovery for asset discovery across cloud and on-premise environments.
Maintain and automate Configuration Item (CI) updates, ensuring accurate CMDB data.
Monitor multi-cloud environments to ensure comprehensive asset visibility.
Service and journey Mapping
Deep dive investigation of CMDB issues to fix the current gaps and identify the opportunities of automation, process improvements and faster services.
Debug and remediate with quick turnarounds.
Implement and Manage Customizations in CMDB




Should be a self-starter with ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Solid experience with BMC Helix CMDB & Discovery across cloud and on-premise environments
Managing and Configuring Reconciliation rules for discovery data
Expertise in troubleshooting and Resolving reconcile errors, deduplications
Creating CMDB Dashboards
Manage CMDB Request Catalogs to customize workflows.
Experience with CMDB integration with other tools like SCCM, SolarWinds etc.
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
ITIL v4 Certification (preferred).
BMC Discovery 22.x: Fundamental Administering
BMC Certified Qualified in Helix ITSM and Virtual Agent (preferred).
