About The Client:

Essential Job Functions:
Build, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Python)
Design and develop automation scripts using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript or Python)
Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform automation coverage
Perform UI, functional, API, and end-to-end test automation
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Ensure reliability of automation suites in multi-browser and cross-platform environments
Analyze test execution results, identify issues, and assist in debugging
Work with product, architecture, and QA teams to enhance automation maturity
Prepare test documentation, reports, and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

Required Skills:




Robust hands-on experience with Playwright
Windows application testing experience (UI + windows service)
Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript (or Python)
Positive understanding of modern testing architecture and best practices
Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and API validation
Experience with REST API testing and integration
Ability to analyze logs, data, and automation failures
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and version control best practices

Preferred Skills:
Experience with Cucumber/BDD frameworks
Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, etc.)
Knowledge of performance testing tools (nice to have)
Understanding of secure coding/testing practices in financial settings
Experience in banking, ideally with mortgage origination/servicing/underwriting systems
