Essential Job Functions:

Technical Leadership
Lead full-stack or backend development initiatives using Java and contemporary frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.)
Architect and deliver production-ready applications from concept to deployment
Establish coding standards and best practices for AI-assisted development workflows
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards, security practices, and performance requirements
Mentor mid-level and junior developers on effective AI tool usage and software engineering principles

AI-Assisted Development
Leverage AI tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot, etc.) for accelerated development, code generation, refactoring, and testing
Build complete features and modules using AI tools as primary development assistants
Validate,



optimize, and productionize AI-generated code
Develop prompts and workflows that maximize AI tool effectiveness for complex development tasks
Document and share successful AI-assisted development patterns with the team

Software Development
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
Implement secure, scalable database solutions (SQL and NoSQL)
Build responsive front-end interfaces (React, Angular, or Vue) - for full-stack role
Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Participate in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues

Qualifications:

Experience
6+ years of qualified software development experience
4+ years with Java and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security)
2+ years of hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor,
