Special Situations | IBC / NCLT Project Evaluation

Reporting To: Director / Head of Finance

ROLE PURPOSE
Lead the financial evaluation, valuation and investment analysis of stressed/distressed infrastructure and allied assets under IBC / NCLT, supporting PATH India’s acquisition, bidding and investment decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate CIRP / IBC opportunities for commercial, financial and project viability.
Develop robust financial models, DCF, IRR, NPV, sensitivity and scenario analysis for stressed assets.
Review Information Memorandums, audited financials, debt structures, cash flows and resolution plans.
Assess project fundamentals including BOT/HAM/EPC/Toll concessions, revenues, O&M; costs, liabilities and funding requirements.
Prepare valuation reports, investment notes, bid analysis and Go/No-Go recommendations for senior management.
Coordinate with Resolution Specialists (RPs), CoC members,
lenders and external legal/financial/technical advisors.
Work closely with Finance, Legal, Technical and Operations teams for integrated project assessment.
Track IBC/NCLT developments, resolution timelines and key transaction milestones.
Support financial monitoring and integration of successfully acquired/resolved assets.
SALIENT CREDENTIALS
MBA – Finance / CA / CFA or equivalent qualification from a reputed institution.
5–7 years of experience in Financial Modelling, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, M&A;, Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory or Special Situations.
Robust exposure to Infrastructure / Roads / Power / Ports / Logistics / EPC / Toll / Concessions preferred.
Prior experience in IBC, NCLT, CIRP, stressed/distressed assets or restructuring is highly desirable.
Advanced MS Excel & Financial Modelling – Mandatory.
Robust command of DCF, valuation, IRR, NPV, sensitivity & scenario analysis.
