About The Job:
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Administrator with expertise in Microsoft Azure, Client Web Services (AWS), and SQL Server to manage, optimize, and secure our cloud-based database settings.
The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and compliance of mission-critical databases across multiple platforms.

Essential Job Functions:
Database Management & Administration
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases on Azure and AWS environments.
Manage database provisioning,



scaling, and performance tuning.
Implement and monitor high availability and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Always On, geo-replication).
Performance & Optimization
Monitor database health using tools like Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, and SQL Performance Insight.
Optimize queries, indexing strategies, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Security & Compliance
Implement encryption, firewall rules, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Manage user permissions and authentication via Azure Active Directory and AWS IAM.
Backup & Recovery
Configure automated backups and recovery plans.
Test disaster recovery procedures regularly.
Migration & Upgrades
Plan and execute database migration from workplace to the other.
Apply patches and upgrades to maintain system integrity.
Automation
Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and AWS CLI.
