Role Description This is a full-time, in office Director of Sales Marketing role based at Merlis Hotels in Coimbatore. The Director of Sales Marketing leads the sales and marketing function, develops and executes strategies to increase room revenue, banquet and event bookings, and corporate contracts. Daily responsibilities include managing key accounts, identifying recent business opportunities, overseeing sales operations, and ensuring effective coordination between sales, front office,



and reservations teams. The role involves designing and implementing marketing campaigns, monitoring online presence, collaborating with distribution partners, and analyzing market trends and competitor activity. The Director is also responsible for setting targets, mentoring the sales team, reviewing performance, preparing regular reports for management, and ensuring high standards of customer service and brand representation.
Qualifications
Robust Sales and Business Development skills, with experience in identifying prospects, managing pipelines, and closing deals in the hospitality or service sector.
