About the Role

We're looking for a Databricks Architect to own platform strategy, drive cost-efficient architecture, and keep our Databricks capability future-ready across engineering, governance, and the GenAI/agentic layer.

Key Responsibilities

- Own Databricks platform strategy — Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, deployment, and GenAI (Mosaic AI, Genie)
- Drive cost optimization and DBU/FinOps discipline across workloads
- Track platform roadmap; scope and run POCs that shape internal accelerators
- Serve as technical advisor in architecture reviews and partner conversations
- Guide certification and enablement across the practice

Requirements

- 6–9 years in data engineering/platform architecture with strong Databricks expertise
- Active Databricks Skilled-level certification
- Hands-on with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, Auto Loader, Databricks SQL, Workflows
- Experience with Mosaic AI, MLflow, agent frameworks
- Exposure to multi-cloud Databricks (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Track record of POCs influencing build decisions; thought leadership a plus
