- Supports the definition of Governance Reporting to ensure that the functioning of the DTS team is actively reported upon and challenged
- Works with DTS teams to support the definition and development of DTS KPIs
- Develops and produces reports against a defined framework and format in a timely and accurate manner
- Analyses results provided by data suppliers, identifies trends, checks quality and confirms outputs with key resources
- Identifies and raises issues of data integrity and proposes solutions where necessary, provides input to drive improvements in data warehousing and associated data modelling
- Observes the IS industry for potential key metrics that may be applicable to our organization, and supports the implementation where appropriate
- Produces and appropriately communicates plans for the production of reports
- Helps to ensure methods and standards are deployed and used across the DTS / Technology Group
- Ensures the Reporting function is focused on quality and provide specialist guidance and advice to less experienced colleagues
- Experience in a reporting function within an ITIL environment
Education and Certifications required to perform the role
- ITILv4 Service Management Foundation qualified
- Microsoft Power BI Analyst certification desirable

- Strong analytical skills to interpret datasets and processes with a keen attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of Power BI including ETL in Power Query, data modelling and DAX for report development and visualisation is required
- Good working knowledge of SQL is essential, with experience of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio preferable, experience in M Query, Python, and similar coding languages also beneficial
- Microsoft Excel - intermediate level mandatory
- Knowledge of Service Now preferable, or good exposure to similar service management tools
- Background in programming or computer science
- Some experience of DTS key processes is desirable
- Understanding of Agile methodology and working practices
