The Opportunity
We are looking for a compassionate, emotionally mature and responsible House Parent to become an integral part of our residential community.

At Freedom Land, we believe that a residential house should be more than a place where children sleep. It should feel like a home.

The House Parent is one of the most significant adults in a residential child's daily life and is expected to provide the care, warmth, guidance, structure and practical support that children need to feel secure and thrive.

The role involves:
• Building warm, trusting and respectful relationships with children
• Being a sympathetic ear and a steady source of emotional support
• Supporting children through homesickness, friendships, conflicts, disappointments and everyday challenges
