Job Summary The Product Data Management Analyst (Cataloging) takes responsibility for ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical product data through meticulous research, cross-referencing, and cataloging. Utilizing solid analytical skills and attention to detail, this role will take a proactive approach to identifying errors and driving continuous improvements in product classification and workflow efficiencies.
Essential Job Duties
- Creating and enhancing technical catalog data of assigned product groups, both third-party brands and private label
- Researching product technical specifications, attributes, and vehicle applications to establish the right product data
- Cross-referencing (applying to K-Types) different brands to ensure the highest quality
- Liaising with product development and suppliers to obtain product data information for research and cross-referencing
- Providing first-level support for catalog-related enquiries, addressing product listings, classifications, and data accuracy to ensure consistency and compliance with catalog standards.
- Aligning with commercial stakeholders regarding catalog customization, for example, channel differentiation, tactical preferences, etc.
- Providing status updates and progress reports as required
- Taking responsibility for ensuring that product data is of the highest quality
- Working continuously to identify potential errors and areas for improvement.

Reporting to
- Team Lead PIM/Cataloging and/or Head of PIM/Cataloging
Education, Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 - 6 years work experience in product data management activities
- Basic understanding of Automobile vehicles
- Experience working in a process-orientated workflow environment.
- Engineering Degree in the areas of Automobile or Mechanical
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Experience in cataloguing products, e.g., application engineering, within the automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or independent aftermarket (IAM) industry
- Previous experience in reviewing and improving product attribution, identifying errors, and implementing process enhancements to support business needs
- Proficiency with cataloguing tools and platforms such as PIM software and data management systems
- Knowledge of IAM data systems such as Olyslager, TecDocand TecRMIas well as OE repair data systems and/or part catalog systems
- Analytical mindset and excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and consistency of product data
- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable improvements to product attribution and cataloguing processes
- Understanding of workshop repair procedures and requirements for tools and equipment
- Strong skills and proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite of applications
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
