Job Summary

The Consultant Manual Testing is responsible for owning end-to-end testing activities for projects, including requirement analysis, test strategy, test design, and execution. The role involves managing testing across SDLC and STLC phases, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and driving defect management.

Key Skills

- 3–6 years of experience in Manual Testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing methodologies and best practices
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle
- Experience in test planning, test case design, and execution
- Ability to design test scenarios and ensure test coverage
- Experience in defect management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in API testing (Postman/SoapUI)
- Understanding of different testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT)
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze requirements and define test scenarios and test approach
- Design and review test cases and ensure adequate test coverage
- Execute test cases and manage end-to-end testing activities




- Identify, log, track, and ensure closure of defects
- Prepare and maintain RTM and test documentation
- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Support test planning, estimation, and scheduling
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing processes
- Prepare and present test status reports and metrics
