Job Title: Cloud & IT Infrastructure Engineer
Experience: 4-6 yrs | Bangalore (On-site)
Type: Full-Time - WFO (Mon to Fri)
Role Overview:
Immidart Technologies LLP is looking for a hands-on Cloud & IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage and support our end-to-end Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, security, networking, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, cost optimization, corporate IT systems, and information-security compliance activities.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing production cloud environments, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, implementing security and reliability improvements, controlling cloud costs, and supporting day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure including Virtual Machines, Storage, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, Key Vault, Azure Firewall and related services.
- Design and maintain secure and scalable Azure architecture for Production, UAT, Development and DR environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot VNet Peering, VPN, routing, DNS, NAT, firewall rules, WAF policies, public/private connectivity and network security.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, privileged access and Azure Policy.
- Implement Azure security best practices using Microsoft Defender for Cloud, security recommendations, vulnerability remediation, access reviews and infrastructure hardening.
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, renewals, DNS configuration, domains and secure application connectivity.
- Configure and monitor infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts, dashboards and centralized logging.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving CPU, memory, disk, IOPS, networking, DNS, application connectivity, databases, operating systems and containers.
- Manage Azure Backup, restore validation, backup monitoring, retention policies, Azure Site Recovery and Disaster Recovery procedures.
- Participate in and document DR drills, restore tests, incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Monitor Azure expenditure using Azure Cost Management, budgets and alerts; identify idle, oversized or underutilized resources and implement cost optimization.
- Evaluate Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Azure Hybrid Benefit,
storage optimization and resource rightsizing.
- Deploy, manage and troubleshoot Docker/container-based workloads, container registries, networking, storage, secrets and application configuration.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers, including patching, hardening, services, storage, performance and security updates.
- Automate infrastructure operations using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform/Bicep.
- Support infrastructure components used by CI/CD pipelines and application deployments.
- Manage on-premises firewall, VPN, LAN/WAN and network connectivity, including configuration backup, firmware/security updates and rule reviews.
- Maintain IT assets and provide technical support for laptops, Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, VPN, endpoint security, antivirus/EDR and peripherals.
- Handle infrastructure and employee support tickets, ensuring proper prioritization, SLA adherence, escalation, resolution and documentation.
- Support employee IT onboarding and offboarding, access provisioning and asset allocation.
- Support ISO/IEC 27001 certification, surveillance audits, internal audits and ISMS activities, including collection and maintenance of technical evidence.
- Maintain evidence for access management, patching, vulnerability management, backups, logging, firewall reviews, asset management, DR, endpoint security and change management.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, network diagrams, asset inventory, runbooks, SOPs and troubleshooting knowledge base.
- Participate in infrastructure capacity planning, lifecycle management, change management, security incidents and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Profile:
- 4–6 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, IT Infrastructure, DevOps, Systems or Network Administration.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience preferred.
- Solid experience supporting production environments and resolving critical incidents.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, backup, DR, monitoring and cost optimization.
- Experience supporting ISO/IEC 27001 audits/certification is preferred.
- Exposure to SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27701, cloud security or privacy requirements is an advantage.
- Experience with enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, SonicWall or Cisco is desirable.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500 or AZ-700 will be an advantage.
What We Are Looking For: A hands-on engineer with strong ownership and troubleshooting skills who can manage the complete infrastructure lifecycle across cloud architecture, networking, security, monitoring, automation, backup, DR, cost management, compliance and corporate IT support.
The candidate should be proactive, security-conscious, cost-conscious, documentation-driven and capable of taking infrastructure issues from identification through root cause, remediation and permanent resolution.
