About the Position

MORPHIUS AI is seeking a highly motivated and technically strong Cloud & AI Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, scalable backend systems, AI workflows, and modern deployment pipelines. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud-native systems while leveraging modern AI technologies and automation to improve engineering workflows and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Cloud & DevOps: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, managing EKS, EC2, S3, and Lambdas.
- Infrastructure as Code: Manage Kubernetes clusters and build IaC configurations using Terraform.
- Automated Deployments: Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for continuous delivery.
- AI Workflows: Integrate AI services, APIs, orchestrations, processing pipelines, and AI-assisted tools into platform capabilities.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Set up infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high-availability and autoscaling.
- Cloud Security: Implement cloud security best practices, managing secrets, IAM policies, and infrastructure hardening.
- Collaboration: Work closely with frontend and backend engineering teams to support development environments.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Expertise

- Strong Knowledge of AWS Services (EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, IAM, Lambda, SQS)
- Strong Knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
- Strong Knowledge of Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
- Strong Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong Knowledge of Linux systems and shell scripting
- Git and version control workflows

- Experience with automation and orchestration systems is an advantage.

AI & Productivity Expectations

Candidates should be comfortable working in AI-assisted development environments and should have practical experience using modern AI tools to improve productivity, development speed, debugging, research, and workflow automation.

Expected AI Skills:

- Ability to write effective prompts for AI tools.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini,



or similar tools.
- Ability to use AI tools for code generation, infrastructure automation, debugging, documentation, research, workflow optimization, and rapid prototyping.
- Understanding of responsible and efficient AI-assisted engineering practices.
