Supervise daily outbound operations and ensure timely dispatch of goods.
Coordinate dispatch schedules, assigning loads to drivers or carriers based on delivery timelines and priorities.
Verify accuracy of outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items, quantities, and documentation.
Oversee loading operations to ensure safety, compliance, and proper handling of goods.
Monitor and track shipments using dispatch software or tracking tools; troubleshoot delays or issues as they arise.
Communicate effectively with internal teams (picking, packing, receiving, customer service) and external partners (drivers, carriers, customers).
Maintain accurate records of dispatch logs, delivery notes, and transport documentation.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transportation regulations.
Support the Warehouse Manager in performance reviews, training, and development of dispatch team members.
Drive continuous improvement in dispatch accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
