Role Description The Chemist role at Ipca Laboratories Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Palghar. The Chemist will perform routine and advanced laboratory tests, prepare and analyze samples, and document experimental results in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include supporting quality control activities, validating test methods, monitoring product specifications, and investigating any deviations to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. The role also involves contributing to research and development projects, assisting in process optimization,



and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve formulations and manufacturing efficiency. The Chemist is expected to maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and adhere strictly to health, safety, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust laboratory skills, including sample preparation, handling of laboratory equipment, and adherence to GLP.
- Candidates should possess quality control skills, with experience in testing raw materials and finished products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills, including proficiency in instrumental analysis (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis) and data interpretation.
- Candidates should possess research and development (R&D;) and research skills, including experimental design, documentation, and support for new product or process development.
- Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP/GLP guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capacity to work accurately under time constraints.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
