Hiring: Billing & Quantity Surveyor – Interior Projects

We are looking for an experienced Billing & Quantity Surveyor to handle quantity estimation, site measurements, billing, and cost control for interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed BOQ, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis for interior works.
- Take and verify site measurements for civil, carpentry, false ceiling, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other interior works.
- Prepare client RA bills, subcontractor bills, and work completion bills.
- Check bills against approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and actual site execution.
- Track material quantities, wastage, consumption, and reconciliation.
- Prepare variation statements, extra-item bills, and deviation reports.
- Coordinate with the project manager, site engineers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives.
- Monitor project quantities and costs to ensure work is completed within the approved budget.
- Maintain proper documentation of measurements, bills, work orders, purchase orders, and approvals.
- Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for new interior projects.
- Identify quantity discrepancies and billing errors and resolve them with the concerned teams.




- Prepare regular quantity and cost reports for management.

Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in quantity surveying/billing, preferably in interior fit-out projects.
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, rate analysis, measurements, and billing procedures.
- Ability to read and understand architectural, civil, MEP, and interior drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD; knowledge of billing/estimation software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of interior materials, construction methods, and site execution.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Experience

Salary

₹25,000 to 30,000 per month, based on experience and skill level.
