Interior Billing Engineer – Job Responsibilities

- Prepare client bills / RA bills based on actual site measurements and completed work.

- Check BOQ (Bill of Quantities), drawings, specifications, and contract terms.

- Take and verify site measurements for civil and interior works.

- Prepare measurement sheets, quantity take-offs, and abstracts.

- Check quantities of materials and works such as:

- Gypsum/false ceiling

- Flooring and tiles

- Painting and polishing

- Carpentry and furniture

- Glass and partitions

- Electrical and MEP works

- Civil and finishing works

- Prepare subcontractor/vendor bills and verify their measurements.

- Compare actual quantities with BOQ quantities and identify variations.

- Prepare extra item, deviation, and variation statements.

- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, architects, contractors, and clients regarding billing.

- Verify material reconciliation and wastage where applicable.

- Maintain billing records, measurement books,



work orders, and supporting documents.

- Assist in cost control and project quantity tracking.

- Check invoices, purchase orders, work orders, and supporting documents.

- Prepare final bills and project closure documentation.

- Use AutoCAD and MS Excel for quantity calculations, measurements, and billing.

- Ensure bills are prepared according to contract rates, approved drawings, and site conditions.
