About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Banquet Manager to oversee banquet operations and ensure the successful execution of events, conferences, weddings, and corporate functions. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, excellent guest service standards, and extensive experience in banquet operations within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, and manage all banquet events, conferences, weddings, and special functions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Supervise banquet staff, assign duties, and maintain high service standards.
- Ensure banquet halls and event venues are set up according to guest requirements.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements professionally.
- Manage banquet inventories, equipment,



and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.
- Prepare banquet schedules, staffing plans, and operational reports.
- Control banquet costs while maximizing guest satisfaction and profitability.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the banquet team to deliver exceptional service.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in banquet operations within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of banquet setup, food & beverage service, and event management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in banquet management systems and MS Office is an added advantage.
