Role & responsibilities:
Visit branches as per the audit schedule.
Review loan files, customer documentation and underwriting quality.
Check compliance with MFI and microfinance product norms.
Verify field processes, collections and customer authenticity.
Share audit observations and follow up for closure.
Prepare explicit and timely audit reports.
Travel across assigned regions and cover 18 to 20 branches per quarter.
Preferred candidate profile:
Minimum 1 year experience in Microfinance, MFI or similar products.
Robust understanding of credit, field audits and documentation.
Local language fluency is mandatory.
Finance background preferred.
Experience in banking or fintech is a plus.
Must be comfortable with extensive travel.
