Role Summary

We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to provide L2 operational support for Azure infrastructure and applications. The role involves monitoring, incident troubleshooting, Azure administration, automation, and coordination with L3/DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide 24x7 L2 support for Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources, alerts, performance, and connectivity issues.
- Support AKS/Kubernetes environments and troubleshoot pods, nodes, deployments, and services.
- Manage and troubleshoot Terraform deployments, modules, remote state, workspaces, and drift.
- Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment issues.

- Monitor, Log Analytics & Application Insights

- Use PowerShell/Bash for automation and operational tasks.
- Handle incidents, service requests, changes, RCA and escalation as per SLA/ITIL processes.
- Maintain SOPs, knowledge articles and operational documentation.

- AIOps / AI-assisted IT Operations experience for monitoring, alert correlation, anomaly detection and proactive incident management.
- Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Copilot / GitHub Copilot / ChatGPT or similar GenAI tools for:

- Incident and log analysis

- Troubleshooting and RCA
- PowerShell/Bash script generation and optimization
- Knowledge article and SOP creation
- Automating repetitive operational activities
- Experience using AI to improve MTTR, alert noise reduction and operational efficiency.
- Ability to identify and implement AI-driven automation and operational improvement opportunities.
- Basic understanding of integrating AI/GenAI capabilities with Azure monitoring, ITSM and cloud operations.

Preferred Profile

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience working in a 24x7 NOC/production support environment.
- Positive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently handle L2 incidents and coordinate with L3 teams.
