About the Opportunity A fast-growing D2C dairy and F&B; business is looking for an AVP Growth & Performance Marketing to own its acquisition and retention engine as the business scales.

This is a performance and lifecycle marketing leadership role with direct ownership of growth metrics and a monthly media budget. Brand, content and creative sit outside this role.

The role will work closely with the Founder and manage external agency/freelance partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the acquisition and retention engine for the company's subscription-led D2C business.
- Own P&L; accountability for the monthly advertising budget.
- Develop and execute performance marketing strategy across Meta, Google and YouTube.
- Plan and manage media spends while delivering against CAC, ROAS and blended payback targets.
- Own the complete subscription funnel, including app/web onboarding and trial-to-paid conversion.
- Lead retention and lifecycle marketing across CRM, WhatsApp, SMS and email.
- Build lifecycle journeys to improve retention, reduce churn and drive loyalty.
- Own growth reporting and dashboards covering cohort retention, LTV:CAC and channel attribution.
- Lead weekly growth and business reviews with the Founder.
- Manage performance marketing and CRM agencies/freelancers.
- Remain hands-on and be capable of building and launching campaigns independently when required.

What We're Looking For
- 5–8 years of experience in D2C or consumer-subscription growth marketing.
- Strong, hands-on experience in performance marketing is non-negotiable.
- Proven experience managing significant media budgets and delivering against CAC, ROAS and ROI/payback metrics.
- Robust experience across Meta, Google and YouTube.
- Demonstrated ownership of retention, CRM and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience with subscription funnels, onboarding, conversion and churn reduction.




- Strong understanding of cohort analysis, LTV:CAC, attribution and growth dashboards.
- Experience scaling a consumer/D2C business; exposure to brands scaling from 50 Cr toward 200 Cr+ is preferred.
- Strong analytical and commercial orientation with the ability to connect marketing spends to business outcomes.
- Experience managing agencies and external partners.
- Should be hands-on, entrepreneurial and comfortable working directly with the Founder.
- Marketplace experience such as Amazon/Flipkart is useful but secondary; first-party D2C/subscription experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate combines strong performance marketing expertise with deep retention and lifecycle ownership, understands the economics of a subscription business, and can continuously optimise the funnel from acquisition through retention.
