Hiring: Australian Accountant

Location: Mohali, Punjab

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹50,000 per month

Office Location: Mohali

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Australian Accountant to join our team in Mohali.

Candidates with experience in Australian bookkeeping, accounting, taxation, and compliance will be preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities :

i. Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for Australian clients.

ii. Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.

iii. Perform Bank, GST, and account reconciliations.

iv. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

v. Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, and payment transactions.

vi. Assist with BAS (Business Activity Statement) preparation and related GST requirements.

vii. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.

viii. Work with Australian accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.

ix. Assist with payroll processing and related accounting activities. Maintain accurate records in accordance with Australian accounting standards and requirements.

x. Coordinate with Australian clients and respond to accounting-related queries professionally.

Assist accountants and senior team members with taxation and compliance-related work.

xii. Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting tasks and maintain high accuracy.

xiii. Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve accounting issues.

Requirements Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Previous experience in Australian Accounting/Bookkeeping is preferred.

Knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, payroll, and accounting practices is an advantage.

Experience with Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks will be preferred.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
