1. Implementation of the Official Language Policy of the Government of India, including ensuring translation of official documents from English to Hindi and vice versa.
2. Conducting Hindi training for employees within the region and maintaining updated Hindi training rosters.
3. Organizing Hindi Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Hindi Fortnight, and other Official Language promotional programmes.
4. Preparing Hindi versions of questionnaires and related documents for visiting Parliamentary Committees.
5. Vetting and reviewing Hindi translations prepared by other employees.
6. Implementing Hindi Incentive Schemes and promoting progressive use of Hindi in official work.
7. Participating in Town Official Language Implementation Committee activities and coordinating related initiatives.
8. Organizing quarterly meetings of the Official Language Implementation Committee (OLIC) and ensuring follow-up action on decisions taken therein.
9.
Ensuring procurement of administration-related items through GeM / market in line with applicable tendering and proc urement norms.
10. Handling end-to-end procurement activities, including billing and closure formalities.
11. Managing general administration activities for Ballard Estate / Sewree offices.
12. Acting as Record Officer for RHR-WR and maintaining records as per the Record Retention Policy.
13. Managing Guest Houses / Chummery facilities in the Western Region.
14. Arranging guest house / hotel accommodation and transportation facilities for guests visiting the Western Region.
