As an Art & Craft Teacher, you ll design and lead engaging sessions that blend traditional techniques with modern creativity - helping students build fine motor skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the arts.

Role & Responsibilities

- Plan and execute age-appropriate art & craft lessons aligned with school curricula and student developmental stages.
- Lead hands-on sessions using diverse mediums - paper, clay, paint, textiles, recyclables - fostering creativity, problem-solving, and fine motor development.
- Create protected, inspiring classroom environments that encourage exploration, self-expression, and peer collaboration.
- Document student progress, display artwork, and participate in school exhibitions, cultural events, and parent engagement activities.
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers and coordinators to integrate art into cross-curricular themes and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain and organize art supplies,



ensure hygiene/safety standards, and manage budget-friendly sourcing of materials.

Skills & Qualifications Must-Have

- Proficiency in multiple art mediums (acrylic, watercolor, clay, paper crafts, textile art)
- Experience with children s art pedagogy and developmental stage-appropriate projects
- Classroom management for K-8 students
- Lesson planning and curriculum alignment
- Safety and hygiene compliance in art workshops
- Portfolio showcasing student artwork or personal creative projects

Preferred

- Certification in Art Education or Montessori/Reggio Emilia training
- Experience with STEAM-integrated art projects
- Ability to conduct art workshops or after-school clubs
