Area Sales Manager – Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned area.

Manage and grow the company’s customer base and market presence.

Identify new customers, dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.

Maintain solid relationships with existing customers and ensure customer satisfaction.

Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, competitor activities, and market trends.

Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities. Prepare quotations, negotiate with customers, and follow up until order closure.

Coordinate with the project, operations, and management teams for smooth execution of customer orders.

Monitor sales performance and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Manage sales pipeline, follow-ups, collections, and outstanding payments.

Monitor competitor pricing, products,



and promotional activities and provide market feedback to management.

Plan and conduct customer meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations. Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales requirements effectively. Maintain accurate customer records, sales data, and follow-up reports.

Support and guide sales executives or field sales team in achieving their targets. Travel within the assigned area as required for customer visits and business development.

Ensure company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales processes are properly followed.

Provide regular updates to management regarding sales performance, market opportunities, challenges, and future business potential.

Pay: ₹16,064.48 - ₹58,198.56 per month
