Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java Selenium Rest Assured Automation Tester / SDET with strong expertise in web automation and API testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks, developing and executing automated test cases, identifying and analyzing defects, and collaborating closely with development and business teams.

The candidate should have robust programming and automation skills, experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, and a passion for adopting emerging testing tools and technologies. Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) and GitHub will be an added advantage.

Technical Skills:

Overall, 5-10 years of experience in IT and Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Java Selenium is must

Hands on experience in API Rest Assured testing





Setting up the Selenium environment: Preparing the environment, selecting a language, and setting up tools

Designed and implemented scalable Selenium frameworks from scratch, improving test efficiency.

Writing test cases in the preferred language, and adding and escalating scripts to improve them

Executing tests: Running test suites to identify bugs and faults

Detect and analyse software flaws and engage with developers to find solutions.

Resolving issues: Assigning bugs to the development team

Analysing user requirements: Providing feedback based on user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents

Staying up to date: Keeping current with testing tools, trends, and methodologies

Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies

Soft Skills:

Strong knowledge in GenAI and Github is added advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities .

Excellent communication and collaboration skills .

Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum teams .
