ANAESTHESIOLOGIST / CRITICAL CARE DOCTOR

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and responsible Anaesthesiologist / Critical Care Doctor to provide safe perioperative anaesthesia services and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.

Key ResponsibilitiesAnaesthesia

- Perform pre-anaesthetic evaluation and optimize patients before surgery.
- Administer general, regional and local anaesthesia as appropriate.
- Perform spinal, epidural and peripheral nerve blocks when indicated.
- Provide intraoperative monitoring and management.
- Manage difficult airway and perioperative emergencies.
- Provide postoperative pain management.
- Supervise recovery of patients in PACU/Post-Operative ICU.
- Participate in emergency and trauma surgeries.

ICU & Critical Care
- Assess and manage critically ill patients in ICU.
- Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy and non-invasive ventilation.
- Perform airway management and endotracheal intubation.
- Insert central venous and arterial lines when required.
- Manage shock, sepsis, respiratory failure and other critical emergencies.
- Participate in CPR and hospital Code Blue response.
- Coordinate with surgeons,



physicians and other specialists regarding patient management.
- Communicate appropriately with patients' families regarding clinical condition and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate ICU documentation and handovers.

Qualification

Preferred qualifications:

- MBBS + MD/DNB Anaesthesiology, or
- MBBS + recognized qualification/training in Critical Care Medicine, as applicable to the position.

Valid medical registration is required.

Experience

- Freshers with appropriate postgraduate qualifications may apply.
- Ability to independently handle emergency airway and critically ill patients is desirable.

Duty Full-time position with rotational duties/on-call responsibilities as per hospital requirements.

Salary: Competitive and based on qualification and experience.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
