Role: Analyst - Direct Tax

Role Overview
We are looking for a tax professional to support Direct Tax compliance, litigation, reporting, and advisory activities across India and international jurisdictions. The role offers exposure to corporate taxation, international tax matters, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Direct Tax compliances, including corporate tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Handle tax notices, assessments, audits, appeals, and representations before tax authorities.
- Support tax litigation matters and coordinate with external consultants and advisors.
- Provide advisory on income tax, withholding tax, tax treaties, and cross-border transactions.
- Assist in transfer pricing compliance, including related-party transactions and Arms Length Pricing requirements.
- Evaluate tax implications of business transactions and support tax-efficient decision-making.
- Coordinate tax reporting requirements for overseas entities and global operations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- 0-2 years of experience in Direct Tax, Corporate Tax, Tax Advisory, International Taxation, or Tax Litigation.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualified qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Direct Tax laws, Income Tax compliance, tax litigation, and tax advisory.
- Understanding of International Taxation, withholding tax, tax treaties, and Transfer Pricing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and tax automation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and tax reporting.
