A Senior Ladies Footwear Designer leads the end-to-end design, development, and commercialization of women's footwear collections—spanning heels, flats, sandals, boots, and athleisure. The role balances creative direction with technical pattern engineering, material selection, and cost efficiency.

Core Responsibilities
Trend Research & Concept Creation: Analyze global fashion trends, color palettes, material innovations, and consumer behavior to build seasonal mood boards and range plans.
Collection Design & CAD Development: Conceptualize aesthetic silhouettes, heel profiles, upper patterns, and embellishments using tools like 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., Crispin, Romans CAD), Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
Technical Specification & Last Development: Translate creative concepts into detailed tech packs, last specifications, outsole/heel specifications, and material bills of materials (BOM) for production teams.
Material & Component Sourcing: Select and evaluate leathers, synthetic upper materials, linings, hardware, heel molds,



and sole units; liaise with material tanneries and component vendors.
Prototyping & Sample Coordination: Direct pattern makers, sample room technicians, and lasting specialists to build proto-samples; evaluate initial fitting, comfort, balance, and structural integrity.
Range Building & Commercialization: Collaborate with product managers, merchandisers, and sales teams to align collection pricing, target margins, and buyer specifications.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5–10+ years in ladies' footwear design and product development.
Technical Expertise: Solid proficiency in footwear construction (cemented, welted, lasted constructions), pattern making, last fitting evaluation, and grading.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Footwear Technology, Industrial Design, or Fashion Design (e.g., FDDI, NIFT, or equivalent).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
