About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/GenAI Solutions Architect to join our energetic team at Qualys. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling enterprise-grade AI and GenAI solutions that automate complex business processes, enhance decision-making capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

You will focus on developing innovative AI-powered applications, intelligent workflows, and integrations by leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies, enterprise systems, and data sources in a secure and scalable environment. This position offers an exciting prospect to drive digital transformation initiatives across the organization and contribute to the development of enterprise AI frameworks that set industry standards.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess between 7 to 12+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, or GenAI application development. Proven expertise in building and deploying production-grade AI/GenAI solutions is essential.

Candidates should have a strong command of Python programming, backend development, API design, system integration, and workflow orchestration. Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering,



tool/agent calling, and AI evaluation metrics is required. Additionally, familiarity with integrating enterprise applications, data platforms, and services through APIs and event-driven architectures is vital.

The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills, systems thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating ambiguous business challenges into scalable AI solutions.

Preferred qualifications include experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, advanced RAG architectures, SQL, data engineering, and knowledge of AI governance frameworks.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI and GenAI applications, including retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and intelligent workflow automation solutions. They will build robust backend services, APIs, integrations, and orchestration frameworks utilizing large language models, enterprise data, and model APIs.

Developing AI-powered knowledge assistants, decision support systems, and automation workflows will be a core part of the role. Ensuring high code quality, security, reliability, observability, and governance will be paramount, along with defining evaluation frameworks to measure AI performance, accuracy, latency, and system robustness. Collaboration with cross-functional teams—including Business, IT, Security, Data, HR,



and Finance—is essential to identify high-value AI use cases and deliver impactful solutions.

The role involves rapid prototyping, scaling solutions into secure production environments, and optimizing AI systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Additionally, the candidate will develop reusable AI components, frameworks, and best practices to facilitate enterprise-wide AI adoption and ensure the solutions align with organizational standards and strategic objectives.
