We are seeking an experienced and skilled MRI Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have robust technical knowledge and hands-on experience in operating MRI equipment and ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI scans.
Ensure patient safety and follow all MRI safety protocols.
Screen patients for contraindications, implants, and other safety concerns.
Maintain high-quality imaging standards and accurate patient records.
Coordinate with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Handle routine equipment checks and report any technical issues.
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the MRI department.
Follow hospital policies,
radiation safety guidelines, and quality standards.
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and during procedures.
Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Radiology, Medical Imaging Technology, or a related field.
5 to 10 years of relevant experience as an MRI Technician.
Solid knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
Experience in handling advanced MRI equipment.
Positive communication and patient-handling skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
