Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping)
Position: Mechanical Design Engineer – Piping
Location: Althan, Surat
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: As per Industry Standards
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the piping industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing piping layouts, GA drawings, isometric drawings, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Piping General Arrangement (GA) Drawings.
Develop Piping Isometric Drawings.
Prepare Plot Plans and Equipment Layouts.
Design piping routing based on project requirements.
Prepare Pipe Support Drawings and details.
Create and modify AutoCAD 2D drawings.
Prepare P&ID; drawings and revisions.
Coordinate with Mechanical, Process, Civil, and Electrical teams.
Review client specifications, engineering standards, and project documents.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs.
Ensure drawings comply with applicable industry codes and standards.
Provide technical support during project execution and resolve design-related issues.

Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and relevant piping standards

Qualification
Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech)
Preferred Candidate
Experience in industrial projects such as Oil & Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Process Plants,
Freshers as well as candidates with up to 5 years of experience are welcome to apply.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
