Main responsibilities
Read engineering drawings and 3D models.
Create CNC programs using G-code and M-code.
Use CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, or NX CAM).
Select cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
Set machining operations (facing, pocketing, drilling, tapping, contouring, etc.).
Simulate programs to avoid collisions.
Optimize cycle time while maintaining quality.
Support machine setup and troubleshoot machining issues.
Skills required
Knowledge of CNC machining principles.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and GD&T.;
Understanding of tooling and workholding.
Familiarity with G-code and M-code.
Experience with CAD/CAM software.
Knowledge of measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
