Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to support our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of solar components and supplier networks, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement to support ongoing solar projects.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers for solar components and materials
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
Create and manage purchase orders and track deliveries
Maintain solid vendor relationships and identify new suppliers
Ensure quality and technical specifications meet project requirements
Coordinate with project, engineering, and warehouse teams for procurement planning
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and documentation
Monitor market trends and stay updated on solar industry products
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
1–2 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (solar/renewable preferred)
Knowledge of solar components (PV modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
ERP system knowledge is an added advantage
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
