JOB DESCRIPTION – BILLING ENGINEER

Position: Billing Engineer
Department: Engineering
Location: RA Puram, Chennai
Experience: 5–8 Years
Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities
Manage billing activities, RA Bills, and financial documentation for industrial and construction projects.
Prepare interim/final bills, variations, and certifications as per contract terms.
Track project payments, client reconciliations, and outstanding dues.
Coordinate with clients, architects, site engineers, contractors, and project teams for billing-related matters.
Review and verify quantities, measurements, work completion, and supporting documents for billing.
Prepare and maintain billing statements, payment records, and project cost documentation.
Handle variations, additional works, and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
Use MS Excel for billing calculations, reconciliations, and financial tracking.




Ensure timely submission of bills and follow up with clients for payment certification and collection.
Maintain accurate records of all billing and financial transactions related to projects.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / relevant Engineering discipline.
5–8 years of experience in billing, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of RA Billing, BOQ, quantity estimation, variations, and certifications.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and billing documentation.
Strong coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet billing deadlines.

Pay: ₹326,876.81 - ₹1,420,922.90 per year
