Job Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to newborns and critically ill neonates in the NICU.
Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, feeding, and overall condition of neonates.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the neonatologist.
Assist doctors during procedures and emergencies.
Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
Operate and monitor NICU equipment such as incubators, ventilators, CPAP, and infusion pumps.
Follow infection-control, safety, and neonatal care protocols.
Support parents and provide appropriate guidance regarding newborn care.
Ensure proper handover and effective communication with the healthcare team.
Eligibility & Qualifications
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
1–5 years of relevant NICU experience.
Valid nursing registration with the respective State Nursing Council.
Relevant experience in NICU / Neonatal Care is preferred.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights.
