- Review of AMC financial statements with detailed variance analysis & ratios, revenue/ expense trends.
- Build robust understanding on each aspect of financials, check proper account mappings classification & disclosures.
- Analyse Management fees at each fund level by discussing with business operations team and reconciling with PPM commercials.
- Co-ordinate with Statutory & internal auditors and resolution of audit queries and ensure no major observations which impact financial statements.
- Identify areas of automation in Accounts vertical and ensure there is efficiency in operations, identify process gaps in operations and automate or improve processes whereby manual intervention is reduced and efficiency can be improved upon with accuracy.
- Update Risk control matrix of key activities and ensure testing is performed periodically
- Operations end-to end process with accounting, understanding gaps and fix by implementing better controls for data accuracy & postings.
Sign off various SLA with them and accordingly monitor their data.
- Monthly reading SEBI and other regulatory guidelines and to discuss with management for change if any impacting business, revenue, accounting and compliance
- Review key expenses, track movement of funds, investments etc. and ensure there are no idle funds. Review debtors ageing analysis and ensure appropriate ECL provisions are considered as per defined policy Ensure GST and TDS compliances and ensure reconciliation of TDS with 26 AS, GST reconciliation of GSTR 2B with ITC register
- Handling tax audit queries and ensure providing data to tax team 5. Cross-functional Coordination:
- Work closely with Treasury, Back-office Operations, Compliance and Product teams to align processes and support end-to-end transaction lifecycle.
Preferred candidate profile 3-4 years of experience in accounting.
