Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities at our Dighi Port location. The role involves maintaining financial records, handling accounting entries and reconciliations, supporting billing and payments, and assisting with statutory compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, vouchers, and ledger posting

Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and documentation

Prepare and process invoices, payment entries, receipts, and expense records

Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations

Maintain accurate records of expenses, purchases, and operational transactions

Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and the finance team for required documentation

Support monthly financial reporting and MIS preparation

Ensure timely updating and proper maintenance of accounting records





Assist with resolving accounting discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial data

Requirements:

1 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

B.Com / M.Com / Diploma in Accounting or a related qualification

Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping

Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel or similar accounting software

Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Good communication and coordination skills
