Overall responsibility for Injection Molding Production, Quality, Productivity and Delivery.
Plan and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production targets and machine utilization.
Manage Injection Molding machines, molds, auxiliary equipment and process parameters.
Ensure optimum cycle time, OEE, rejection control and productivity improvement.
Lead mold trials, new product development, process validation and mass production.
Control defects such as flash, short shot, sink mark, warpage, burn mark, silver streak, weld line and dimensional issues.
Develop and standardize process parameters, SOPs, work instructions and setup sheets.
Coordinate with Tool Room, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Purchase and Engineering teams.
Ensure proper preventive maintenance of molds and machines to avoid breakdowns.
Drive root cause analysis, 8D, CAPA and continuous improvement activities.
Monitor scrap, rework, material consumption and manufacturing cost.
Ensure proper handling and control of virgin material, regrind and masterbatch.
Develop manpower capability through training, skill matrix and operator certification.
Ensure compliance with 5S, Safety, ISO/IATF requirements and customer-specific requirements.
Monitor and improve OEE, PPM, FPY,



productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
Support PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA activities for recent and existing products.
Handle customer/supplier technical issues related to injection molding.
Lead a team of production engineers, supervisors, setters and operators and ensure effective shift management.
Prepare and present daily/monthly MIS and KPI reports to management.
Identify prospects for automation, process optimization and cost reduction.

Key Skills / Requirements
Solid knowledge of Injection Molding Process & Troubleshooting
Experience in Thermoplastic materials – PP, ABS, PC+ABS, PA66 GF, POM, ASA, etc.
Knowledge of Mold Design, Hot Runner/Cold Runner and Mold Maintenance
Experience with 80T–500T+ injection molding machines
Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA and Control Plan
Strong leadership, team management and problem-solving skills

4+yrs of relevant experience in Injection Molding / Automotive / Electronics manufacturing is must.
