About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Accounts Manager to lead and manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting and taxation and must have prior experience working with a

Chartered Accountant (CA) firm

.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger scrutiny, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

- Prepare and review

Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, and other financial reports

.

- Handle

GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances

.

- Coordinate with external

Chartered Accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities

.

- Review GST returns, TDS returns, reconciliations, and related documentation.

- Ensure timely completion of accounting and statutory compliance requirements.

- Conduct bank, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.

- Monitor accounts receivable and payable and ensure proper accounting controls.

- Assist in budgeting, MIS reporting, financial analysis, and management reporting.





- Support internal and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

- Identify accounting discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

- Lead and supervise the accounts team and ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

Mandatory Requirements

- Must have prior work experience in a CA Firm / Chartered Accountant Firm.

- Minimum

5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

- Solid hands-on knowledge of

GST, TDS, TCS and Income Tax compliance

.

- Excellent understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

- Experience in handling audits and coordinating with CA firms/auditors.

- Proficiency in

Tally Prime / ERP / Accounting Software and MS Excel.

- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to independently manage accounting and compliance functions.

- Good communication and team-management skills.

Educational Qualification

- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

- CA Inter / CMA Inter / relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
