Position: Account Executive – Direct Tax & Indirect Tax

Location: New Delhi

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Executive to manage accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial documentation. The role will primarily focus on Direct Tax and Indirect Tax matters, including GST, TDS, income tax compliance, reconciliations, and related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliation.
- Manage GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and related documentation.
- Assist in Direct Tax compliance, including Income Tax and TDS-related activities.
- Prepare and file TDS returns and ensure timely statutory payments.
- Perform GST input tax credit reconciliation with purchase records and relevant portals.
- Support preparation of financial statements, schedules, and audit-related documents.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, expenses, payments, receipts,



and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and government authorities wherever required.
- Assist in handling notices, assessments, and documentation related to GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory deadlines.
- Prepare MIS reports and maintain proper accounting and taxation records.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Requirements
- Qualification: CA Inter / CMA Inter
- Good understanding of Direct Tax, GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
- Familiarity with GST and Income Tax portals.
- Positive analytical, documentation, and reconciliation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines independently.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
