About the Role

Plus People is hiring freshers for the Academic Counsellor role. The position involves counselling prospective students, understanding their educational requirements, explaining suitable courses, and supporting them throughout the admission process.

Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective students and understand their academic and career goals.
- Explain courses, programs, and admission processes to students.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with prospective students.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions/enrolments.
- Achieve assigned monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Maintain accurate lead and student records.
- Address student queries and provide appropriate guidance.




- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth enrolment and onboarding.

Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Strong interest in counselling and sales.
- Target-oriented and willing to work in a sales-driven setting.
- Comfortable working in rotational shifts.
- Candidates with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are preferred.
