We are looking for a 3D Modeling & Design Automation Engineer with strong CAD and engineering design skills, combined with programming and automation expertise. The role involves developing 3D models, engineering drawings, parametric designs, and automation tools to improve design efficiency, accuracy, and standardization.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Develop parametric and configurable models based on engineering requirements.
- Automate repetitive design tasks using VBA, Python, CAD APIs, macros, or .NET/C#.
- Develop automation for part/assembly generation, drawings, BOMs, calculations, and data extraction.
- Create and maintain design templates, standard components, and reusable model libraries.
- Convert engineering specifications and customer requirements into accurate 3D designs.
- Validate CAD models and automated outputs for accuracy, quality, and engineering compliance.
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve design processes.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and automate manual design activities.




- Prepare documentation for CAD models, automation tools, and design workflows

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong experience in 3D CAD modeling and mechanical design.
- Proficiency in one or more CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, Inventor, or NX.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes. Programming/automation experience in VBA, Python, CAD API, .NET/C#, or similar technologies.
- Valuable knowledge of Microsoft Excel and CAD data handling.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience developing CAD automation applications and design configurators.
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems and engineering data management.
- Experience with Excel-to-CAD or database-to-CAD automation.
- Understanding of design standardization and configuration management.

Pay: ₹300,000.33 - ₹319,158.99 per year
