Role Description:
We are looking for a skilled 3D Modeling & Visualization Specialist to create accurate, optimized, and reusable 3D environments and assets for large-scale technology platforms. The role involves converting CAD/BIM drawings, architectural plans, engineering references, and real-world environments into structured 3D models suitable for interactive and real-time applications. The ideal candidate should have strong 3D modeling fundamentals, an understanding of real-time visualization, and the ability to work with engineering, backend, AI, GIS, and simulation teams.
Job Location: Pune, India.
Experience: 3 Years to 8 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models of buildings, interiors, environments, infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and other physical assets.
- Convert CAD, BIM, architectural drawings, and reference data into accurate 3D models.
- Develop reusable and modular 3D assets for different projects and environments.
- Maintain correct real-world dimensions, scale, orientation, and spatial relationships.
- Optimize models for real-time applications and large-scale environments.
- Create appropriate LODs and optimized geometry for different viewing distances.
- Prepare UVs, PBR materials, textures, and optimized asset packages.
- Maintain clean object hierarchy, naming conventions, IDs, and scene organization.
- Prepare and export assets in formats such as GLB/glTF, FBX, and other required formats.
- Work with real-time 3D technologies such as Three.js, Babylon.js, Unity,
or Unreal Engine.
- Build and maintain reusable 3D asset libraries.
- Support visualization of live object states, operational information, and simulated scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to ensure 3D assets can be integrated with application data and APIs.
- Optimize scenes for performance, including polygon count, draw calls, textures, instancing, culling, and scene loading.
- Participate in the development of large-scale environments such as buildings, campuses, factories, warehouses, infrastructure, and city-scale scenes.
- Maintain consistency and quality across multiple projects and asset types.
Required Skills: 3D Modeling:
- Strong experience with 3ds Max, Blender, or Maya
- Architectural and workplace modeling
- Hard-surface and industrial modeling
- Low-poly and high-poly modeling
- UV mapping and unwrapping
- PBR materials and texturing
- Accurate real-world scale and dimensions
- Object hierarchy and scene organization
- Modular and reusable asset creation
CAD / BIM:
- Good understanding of AutoCAD
- Experience working with architectural and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Revit/BIM is preferred
- Ability to interpret plans, elevations, sections, and technical drawings
Real-Time 3D:
- Understanding of LOD (Level of Detail)
- Polygon and mesh optimization
- Draw-call optimization
- GPU instancing
- Frustum and occlusion culling concepts
- Texture optimization and compression
- Large-scene optimization
- Real-time rendering performance
Asset & Data Structure:
- Understanding of asset IDs and naming standards
- Clean object hierarchy and metadata
- Reusable asset libraries
- Structured scene organization
- Understanding of how 3D objects can be linked to application/backend data
Tools & Technologies:

Preferred Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is not only a visual artist but also understands how 3D assets are structured, optimized, reused, and integrated into interactive technology platforms.
Experience in architectural visualization is valuable, but candidates should also demonstrate an understanding of real-time 3D, asset optimization, structured modeling, and data-driven visualization.
Key Hiring Requirement:
The candidate should be able to convert CAD/BIM drawings or real-world environments into accurate, structured, reusable, and optimized 3D assets suitable for interactive and large-scale applications.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Certification in 3D Design, Architecture, Animation, Multimedia, Game Design, Visualization, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience can be considered in place of formal qualifications.
