Job Role

- 2D Draughtsman

- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on design specifications and project requirements.

- Interpret and analyse technical drawings, plans, and layouts using CAD software and other drafting tools.

- Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to prepare high-quality drawings.

- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable building codes, regulations, standards, and project guidelines.

- Review, modify, and revise drawings based on design changes and feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Drafting

- Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and layouts.

- Use CAD software and other drafting tools to create precise drawings.

- Interpret architectural, structural, and technical specifications accurately.

- Maintain consistency, accuracy, and proper drafting standards across all drawings.

Drawing Review & Documentation

- Review drawings for errors, discrepancies, and technical accuracy.

- Revise drawings according to feedback and design modifications.

- Prepare and update drawing sets, specifications, and material lists.

- Maintain proper records and documentation of drawings and revisions.

- Ensure drawings are completed and submitted within specified project timelines.

Compliance & Construction Support

- Ensure drawings adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.

- Apply knowledge of construction processes and architectural drafting practices.





- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

- Provide drafting support during project execution whenever required.

- Ensure drawings are suitable for construction and approval purposes.

Team Support

- Assist in training and mentoring junior draughtsmen when required.

- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of drafting assignments.

- Support the design and technical team in resolving drawing-related issues.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.

- Strong understanding of 2D drafting principles, standards, and practices.

- Good knowledge of technical drawing interpretation and preparation.

- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes in India.

- Must have knowledge of UBBL and EOD portal and related techniques.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Positive communication and coordination skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with architects and engineers.

- Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple drawing requirements.

Eligibility

- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Draughtsman in India.

- Experience in the construction or architectural industry is preferred.
