Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with solid expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL to design, develop, and support mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mainframe technologies within banking/financial services settings.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using COBOL, CICS, DB2, and JCL
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical design
Perform coding, unit testing, and debugging of mainframe applications
Work on batch processing using JCL and ensure smooth job execution
Develop and optimize DB2 queries and stored procedures




Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and UAT support
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Dev, Business Analysts)
Ensure code quality, follow coding standards, and adhere to SDLC processes

Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in:
COBOL programming
CICS (Customer Information Control System)
DB2 (Database design & SQL queries)
JCL (Job Control Language)
Experience in mainframe development and support
Knowledge of batch and online processing systems
Robust debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with version control and deployment tools
