We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in press tools, progressive dies, and carbide tooling. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently assembling, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining precision press tools to ensure uninterrupted production. Experience in motor lamination dies and high-speed progressive tooling will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble, service, maintain, and repair press tools, progressive dies, and carbide dies.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of press tools to minimise production downtime.
Analyse tool failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Troubleshoot online production issues and support smooth production operations.
Carry out servicing of blanking dies, compound dies, progressive dies, and notching dies.
Perform alignment of cutting elements and ensure dimensional accuracy.
Monitor tool spares inventory and maintain adequate stock levels.
Identify prospects for tool improvement during servicing and communicate recommendations to shift in-charges and production teams.
Operate conventional tool room machines safely and efficiently.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and manufacturing standards.
Work independently on tool assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
