Role & responsibilities :

Responsible for managing, securing, and troubleshooting the organization's network, security, endpoint, and identity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Firewall/UTM: Configure and manage firewall policies, NAT, VPN, security profiles, and web filtering.
Switching: Configure switches, VLANs, trunk/access ports, and troubleshoot LAN connectivity.
Wireless/AP: Configure and manage Access Points through controllers.
EMS/ZTNA: Manage VPN/ZTNA access and web/data security policies for remote users.
Monitor and analyze firewall logs, security events, and generate reports.
Patch Management: Manage OS and third-party application patching and compliance reports through ITAM.
MDM: Manage BYOD and corporate-owned devices and enforce security policies.
Antivirus/EDR: Monitor and maintain endpoint security and respond to malware/security alerts.
PAM:



Manage privileged access and provide restricted access to critical servers.
DLP: Configure and maintain data protection and data-loss prevention policies.
Monitoring & Incident Response: Troubleshoot network/security incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors when required.
Documentation: Maintain network diagrams, configurations, security policies, and operational reports.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of Networking
Hands-on experience with Fortinet or equivalent security solutions.
Knowledge of ZTNA, MFA, IAM, PAM, DLP, MDM, EDR, and SIEM/Log Analysis.
Positive troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Security+, or equivalent are preferred.
